SCENEALLY – OWNER SAFETY GUIDELINES
(Last Updated: November 2025)
These Owner Safety Guidelines (“Guidelines”) are provided to help individuals and businesses who publish listings on SceneAlly.com (“SceneAlly,” “the Platform,” “we,” or “us”) engage with Creators as safely and responsibly as possible. Because SceneAlly does not verify users, conduct background checks, participate in communications, or oversee any interactions or bookings, Owners must take full responsibility for their safety and the safety of their property when interacting with others.
These Guidelines do not constitute legal, professional, or security advice. They are general recommendations intended to support safer decision-making. Each Owner should evaluate their own risks and, where appropriate, seek professional guidance.
1. Understanding Your Role and Responsibility
When you publish a listing on SceneAlly, you are inviting Creators or third parties to contact you directly. SceneAlly does not screen Users, verify identities, or confirm the legitimacy of any inquiries. As an Owner, you must use caution, judgment, and due diligence when responding to messages, arranging visits, or allowing anyone onto your property.
You are solely responsible for deciding whether to allow a person or group to enter, use, or interact with your property. You should never rely on SceneAlly to confirm the identity, intentions, or background of any user who contacts you.
2. Verifying Identity and Legitimacy
Before allowing anyone to visit or access your property, you should make reasonable efforts to confirm who they are and what they intend to do. You may ask for the visitor’s full name, social media accounts, portfolio, business website, identification, or other information that establishes legitimacy. You may also request written details about the project, estimated duration, number of people involved, and the nature of the content they plan to create.
SceneAlly does not provide background checks or screening tools. Owners should trust their instincts and decline any inquiry that raises concerns, feels suspicious, or appears inconsistent with the information provided.
3. Communicating Safely With Creators
All early communication should take place through non-sensitive channels. Avoid sharing personal details such as your home address, exact location, financial information, or daily schedule until you are comfortable with the visitor’s identity and intentions. Keep your communication clear, concise, and professional. Establish the rules and expectations for the use of your space in writing, including limitations, boundaries, and any areas that are off-limits.
If an inquiry becomes uncomfortable, unprofessional, or inappropriate, discontinue communication immediately. Owners are under no obligation to respond to or continue conversations with any Creator.
4. Preparing for In-Person Meetings or Visits
If you agree to an in-person meeting or site visit, consider doing so with appropriate precautions. You may request to meet in a public or neutral location before revealing your property address. If the visit takes place at your property, consider having another adult present during the meeting. You should also ensure your phone is charged, accessible, and capable of placing emergency calls.
Before allowing a visitor onto your property, walk through the space to secure personal belongings, valuables, or sensitive items that should not be accessed or photographed. Clearly communicate any safety hazards, rules, or restrictions in advance.
5. Assessing Property Risks and Safety Conditions
You are responsible for determining whether your property is safe and suitable for creative use. Before permitting any activity, consider the physical condition of the space, potential hazards, weather-related concerns, and any risks associated with tools, equipment, water features, structural elements, or uneven surfaces. You should disclose any hazards or limitations to visitors ahead of time.
If at any point during a visit the situation becomes unsafe, destructive, or inconsistent with the agreed-upon purpose, you have the absolute right to end the session and ask the visitors to leave immediately.
6. Insurance, Permissions, and Legal Compliance
You must determine whether local regulations, permits, or insurance requirements apply to the use of your property for creative activities. Some locations or activities may require additional permissions, business licenses, HOA approvals, or liability coverage.
SceneAlly does not provide insurance of any kind and does not verify whether an Owner carries insurance. If you are concerned about potential liability or property damage, consult an insurance professional to understand your coverage options.
7. Handling Payments and Financial Arrangements
All payments and negotiations occur entirely off-platform between the Owner and the Creator. SceneAlly does not handle, mediate, or process transactions and cannot assist in disputes. Use secure and reputable payment methods and avoid accepting unusual or high-risk arrangements. Confirm all financial terms clearly and in writing before any use of your property begins.
Be cautious of last-minute changes, rushed requests, or offers that appear too good to be true. Trust your judgment and decline arrangements that make you uncomfortable.
8. Trusting Your Instincts and Declining Unsafe Situations
You are never required to accept a booking, respond to a message, or allow any person to visit or use your property. If you feel uneasy or uncertain at any stage—whether during initial communication, before a scheduled visit, or during an active session—you have the right to decline, cancel, or end the interaction.
Your safety, comfort, and property protection should always take priority over any potential opportunity.
9. Reporting Concerns or Violations
If you encounter a User who appears fraudulent, abusive, unsafe, or in clear violation of SceneAlly’s policies, you may use the report feature found on listings or contact us at support@sceneally.com. While SceneAlly is not obligated to act on every report, we review submissions to the extent permitted by our policies and may take action when appropriate.
10. Acknowledgment of Owner Responsibility
By using SceneAlly, you acknowledge that all interactions with Creators or visitors occur at your own risk. SceneAlly does not monitor, guarantee, or participate in any off-platform engagement and cannot protect you from harm, misconduct, or property damage. These Guidelines are recommendations only and do not create any duty or obligation for SceneAlly.
Owners are encouraged to use caution, apply reasonable judgment, and take whatever measures they feel are necessary to ensure their own safety and the safety of their property. This is not a complete list

Following these Guidelines does not guarantee safety, prevent harm, or create any obligation for SceneAlly to intervene or supervise any interaction.
